The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

TCCC Training: Driving the State of Readiness at Naval Station Hospital Jacksonville

Naval Hospital Jacksonville offers SMILE eye surgery for military

NAVAL HOSPITAL JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This week Naval Hospital (NH) Jacksonville began performing a new type of corrective eye surgery. Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE) was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2016.

Donor Breast Milk Program launches at Naval Hospital Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Breast Milk donation program is at full, operational capacity at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, according to Capt. Carl Goforth, chief nursing officer. The Mother Infant Unit is purchasing from Mothers Milk Bank of Colorado and has been provided for at least three local infants.
